Plan was to fly cross-country to buy a large truck with no rust. Contacted Fletcher on a Friday for pickup on Monday, which he booked. Seller had told me several times it was operable. I flew out, everything went smoothly...until I arrived Monday morning and found out the truck hadn't been started in 2 years and wouldn't run. The first transport company came right on time but could only load operable vehicles (as we had booked), and left. Fletcher advised a reasonable cancellation fee as we turned wrenches. Seller tried to "help" by contacting people he knew for transport, but then while I was out getting spark plugs, he called random brokers and wound up having a bunch of people calling him not knowing who the real shipper was. We gave up trying to get the engine running, agreed on a price, I paid for the vehicle, took the title, and flew back home, confident that Fletcher would get it all sorted out. He booked a second shipper who then backed out due to vehicle size. The third shipper didn't show on the pickup date, wasn't totally honest about plans with the seller but committed to another date, and then showed up with a rig for operable vehicles only. Fletcher sorted it out and found a fourth shipper that brought the truck the 2,600 miles in 2 days for cheaper. He knows the industry and what he's doing, which especially important when things go wrong. He answered communication promptly (except one day when he had a phone issue). Will use him again.
