we had to change the original contract from a mazda3 to a chev truck, we never received the second contract just a verbal $150 extra charge at delivery, which would be $750 total. Supposedly all other fees were included in the quoted price. pick up was to be no later than monday because we were leaving for our move monday morning. This was made very clear to Rich that our plans were to leave that morning. At 12 noon we started calling Rich, customer service, dispatcher, and everyone else listed but unable to talk to anyone until miranda returned call late monday afternoon. She stated she did not know what was going on but she would have Rich call us, he later called and stated the truck was having mechanical problems, pick up will be wednesday. So we had to make plans for someone to take care of the pick up. The truck was not picked up wednesday, still waiting on parts..? but yet we had to call to find this out. No one ever called to update us on what was going on. The truck was not picked up until Saturday, the truck was delivered the following saturday, extremley dirty, had to leave wedding to meet driver who decided to meet us in a different location than we had previously discussed with him which was out of our way. cost was $50 more than rich had quoted. Miranda stated fuel charge from driver..driver stated this price was quoted from 1world auto movers. prior to pick up and during transport we had to talk to the driver who did not speak very good english. There was not anyone available to speak to during the weekend or after hours except the driver. What happened to dispatching between the company and driver. The driver works for you....why should you not know what is going on at all times? We have had vehicles shipped before and have never had this kind of problems. Whether there was mechnical problems, extra charges, late pick up or delivery change CALL the customer and communicate with them! We understand things happen and everything does not always go as planned. But your customers need to be informed!!! There is enough stress in moving and not knowing whether your vehicle is going to be picked up or not adds much more than called for.
