This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a professional business, and now I know that they are not professional.
I got a quote in the beginning of December to move my car the weekend of January 25th. The quote was for $659.
I talked to the person and they said that there was a 3-day window in which they would pick it up. Between the 25th and the 28th, and they would call me 24hrs before they would pick it up so that I would know they were coming.
So the 28th rolled around and no call.
I called them that afternoon and explained my situation.
They told me that they had forgotten to assign my car to a carrier.
So I asked them when my car would be picked up then, and they replied that they would call me back.
They never called me back so I called them each day asking about my car. each time I called, they told me they were working on finding me a driver.
They then called me telling me that they couldnt find anyone yet that would do it for under $1000.
So at this point I was so mad that I asked why they would quote me $659 if no one would do it for under $1000, and why they would tell me it would be picked up between three days?
They answered that the person I talked to should have told me that they cant quarantee when my car would be picked up or dropped off, and since the weather sucks in Montana, they couldnt guarantee that anyone would ever want to go out there.
They then called me back the next day asking if I could meet someone in Salt Lake City, Utah, In which I replied, It would be kind of hard for me to travel 500 miles to Salt Lake city to meet you without having a car to drive there.
So my dilemma is that I payed them $150 deposit, my car is still sitting at my parents house in Illinois, and I have no car in Montana and have to bum rides from people.
This is frustrating to no end.
I would not recommend this company to anyone else, and I really hope that the company sees this and realizes how angry I am, and decides they need to do something about it.
