I tried for 1 week with several different Brokers, and 0 could find me a carrier willing to take my mini-van from Oakland, Cal to Port Orford, Oregon.
My coastal delivery location was very challenging to drive to.
My intuition and research led me to 1 Flat -Rate LLC. I got to speak with Ray-and after a few minutes I knew this guy could get the "impossible" done. Indeed, what the others failed to do, or to have, was an assertive-PRO-ACTIVE search..Ray started contacting people/carriers he thought might want to take this"dead-head" route, and in 1 day-BINGO. Ray it seems has a great rapport with many carriers.
The carrier was super friendly and reliably, safely delivered the vehicle to my house-RIGHT ON TIME !
The winds that day were especially strong. And, often, in this southern part of Oregon, close to the sea, these winds can move vehicles about while traveling on the precarious ups and downs and winding bends of the 101.
The driver-Geoff and Ray-both experienced-savvy experts,showed all the others how to get the job done![
