After submitting an online estimate for transporting a vehicle from Houston area to either Boise, Idaho or Salt Lake City, Utah I was inundated with solicitations at varying prices. I also would receive (and still am) calls from autobots. I did receive an email from Ray McGlinchey at Flat-Rate LLC, the email was informative and did not have a cost immediately associated with the transport. I had talked with a few other brokers and they were high pressure, some immediately wanting a credit card number. Ray took the time to explain the entire process and suggested a price range to guarantee a quick pickup by a carrier. Since I was completely flexible on time (and drop off location), I went a little lower. About 2 days later, a carrier was calling to pickup the car. The carrier was Dane Transportation and Olivia, the driver, was great to work with and patient with all my questions regarding logistics.

Payment was easy, my $1000 bid was met (approx. $200-700 less than many quotes). I paid cash upon delivery: $800 to the driver and $200 to Flat-Rate as was stated in the original email.

Thanks Ray and Olivia for making this process super easy, something I stressed about when I purchased the vehicle.
