This was my first ebay purchase of a collector car (fixer-upper) and to say the least I was pretty nervous about the whole thing. I didn't realize how much was involved in shipping at all. I did talk to the seller a little before bidding and he did recommend a company he used all the time so I had a little info to go on. Luckily, I discovered this site and researched the company and decided I didn't want to use them.

Using the route selection company search feature on this site, I found 1Flat-Rate shipping. They weren't the cheapest, but had excellent reviews and he gave me a quick on-line quote. I gave Ray a call and he picked the phone right up and spent a lot of time with me explaining the business. Seamed like a nice guy on the phone, so I decided to use him.

I bought the car just before Christmas, so I didn't expect anything to happen too quickly, but a trucker was assigned on Jan 3. and the car was picked up Jan 6. and delivered Jan 9th. The carrier was Trail East Auto Transport. I was provided with their cell number and was able to reach him with no problem. He returned my calls quickly. The only problem was that I live off of a main road and the 18 wheeler couldn't get in here so we had to find another place to unload the car. If I wanted to spend more money, I would have chosen an enclosed trailer, but I didn't think it was worth it, but the car was covered with salt from a big snow storm, but that was my decision.

Overall, I was very happy with the whole experience and would gladly recommend Ray to my friends.
