I had just bought a car on EBay; the car was in TX and I needed to get it to NJ. EBay's recommended carrier was DAS, but by luck I hit upon this site and read the horror stories and decided to do some searching. I called 4 companies (all 5-star rated here), and all the customer service reps were polite etc, but Eric of 1st Call stood out since he had a very clear idea about what is involved, not only the issue of logistics, but the personal angle too -- I as a first time user of a car transporter, was pretty apprehensive about the procedure, but Eric was very patient in answering all my questions etc. Plus, he gave the lowest quote as well (woo hoo)!

The pleasant surprises kept on coming. The car was picked up on the same day it was available (which was a couple of days after I'd talked to Eric!). The driver Frank of IAS used to call me and keep me updated about the progress, and the vehicle arrived in NJ in 6 days.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the experience. Cost-wise and and service-wise, it ranks as one of the best deals I made on the internet. Thanks to Eric/1st Call, and also to this wonderful site for making it happen...
