This was the first time that I purchased a car from Ebay and had no idea what to expect when it came to the shipping. I spent many hours on the internet getting quotes and finding sites that had feedback to their service. I was horrified at some of the information. Some of the quotes were up to $500 more than what I paid using 1st Call Auto Haul, and they did not offer any better service or insurance that what I got.

One of the things that really worried me was the time it would take to have it shipped. Most of the companies have the same timeframes when it comes to shipping, but the difference is in the time it can take for the car to be even picked up. After reading the reviews on some of the companies, I narrowed my search down very quickly. I was shocked when I found out that my car had been picked up on the first day it was available and I had not even given them very much notice.

There was a company that gave me a quote that was $100 cheaper, but after reading their feedback comments, I know why. When they give you a low quote, they have to find someone who will deliver it for them for that price, which is why it says in their agreement that if they do not find anyone to ship it after 30 days, you can ask them for a refund of your $150 deposit.

I feel very lucky--1st Call Auto Haul was one of the cheapest, and definately the fastest. Thanks.
