A Good Experience with 1st Call

We've never moved a car before, and we were nervous about choosing a transporter. But we read many of the reviews here at Transportreviews.com, and read at the Better Business Bureau, and requested estimates from a number of the better rated companies. 1st Call's rate was in the range of other companies, but honestly, their ratings, plus the fact that Eric responded, respectfully and professionally, to the negative reviews from other customers, was a plus. Problems happen -- it's how you solve them that matters!
Eric was smart and professional on the phone when we called to find out about his services, and that sealed the deal.
Once we signed with 1st Call, Eric found us a transport within a day or two -- he said we were looking at a popular route (Florida northward), as many shippers were returning from dropping off snowbird cars. But we were pleased that he was able to get it arranged so quickly.
We had pickup in Florida on time, and the driver was friendly and professional, and very thorough in his review of the car, looking for scratches and such.
Eric and the driver stayed in touch with us so we knew when to expect our car, and we were able to go just a few minutes away to meet the driver to pick up our car. (We didn't think he could bring his carrier into the windy roads of our residential neighborhood). He went over the car thoroughly with us. His carrier was clean and well-maintained, the cars on the open carrier all looked great, and our car was in perfect condition when it arrived!
Given that it was a totally new experience for us, and we knew nothing about how to do it, we were pleasantly surprised at how painless it was, and how well it all went. If we had to move a car, we'd use 1st Call again, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.
