Mr. Carter is upset and has every right to be. As a clarification, we had Mr. Carter booked with a transport company as agreed in a quick and timely manner. The day of the transport came and the trucking company hired cancelled(very late). This unfortunately happens and we communicated everything to the customer. We talked to him at least 15 times during the process and had him re booked within 3 days. When we called with the rebooking he decided to pass and work with another company.
Cancellations by trucking companies do happen and we the broker do take the blame. It goes with the territory. We did though communicate throughout the process with Mr. Carter while he was enroute to his new home.
To say that we did not communicate is unfair and not true. We have sent his refund back in full.
