4 Corners Transport Services almost perfect

This was my first time transporting a vehicle and I used TransportReview as one of my main sources for information. After talking with several companies I settled on 4 Corners. Jeff was my contact and he was easy to contact throughout the process.

Pick up - The carrier was On Line Auto Connection and I was given the drivers name and phone number. The driver kept us up to date on the pick up time as the day approached. Everything went well.

Drop off - The carrier contacted my son and they met at an agreed upon location. Inspection of the vehicle resulted in some oil (we assumed) spots (Tacoma was on the lower deck so it may have been from the car above) which were pointed out to the driver. Some of the oil was in the bed of the truck which has a spray on bed liner. Once pointed out, the driver had no problem removing the spots with a degreaser.

Payment - This is the only item that the communication could be improved. During the process the total cost to me NEVER changed. This was a relief because it does not seem the norm in this business. At the time 4 Corners notified me of the carrier name, I was sent an email with the breakdown of the broker and carrier cost. Later in the process the broker and carrier cost changed (total cost to me was still the same) and I was given the information by phone. The problem with this method is during a move with many other things going on written communication is critical. I was sent information via email that the deposit (broker fee) was charged to my credit card but not the amount. So, after a week or so goes by and it is time to get the bank cashier's check (for the carrier) the first thing I did was pull up the latest email from 4 Corners with the cost breakdown. Turns out that email caused me to get a cashier's check that was $35 short. After a few phone calls to get everyone on the same page my son gave the carrier $35 cash and all ended well. I would use 4 Corners again.
