Was getting quotes from Chris Carter from 4 Seasons on moving 2 cars cross country. He was quoting me 975 per car from Utah to Ohio. I told him I had a bid for $875 total. He came back with "I can beat it, I can do $850 total." When I text back and asked if he was sure that his original quote was for $975ea. he text back and said... "I know...I just wanted to show you how naive you sound when you believe a broker who says they can ship 2 cars for $875 :)"
I responded with "I'll take you offer of $850 total" to which he responded "that was a typo. I called the main number to speak with someone regarding his behavior. Chris was very rude and said he was the owner and there was no one else to talk to.
This is the exact behavior I was warned about when I first started looking for a service to haul my vehicles. Bait and switch. Even if 4 seasons was the least expensive provider I would never use them to transport my vehicle
