I originally contacted 477 Express from back in February to get a quote on shipping my GMC Envoy from Florida to Washington. My contact person was Carlos Herrera. From the very beginning, Carlos was straight forward with me. I was originally quoted 1140.00 to transport my vehicle but like we all do, I wanted to shop around to try and get the cheapest price that I possibly could. So, I contacted a few other companies. The lowest quote that I received was 1025.00 from American Auto Transport. I called Carlos to tell him what I was being quoted and he basically told me that they were giving me the lowest quote to get my business and then they most likely would end up charging me more or they would have my car sitting for days or weeks before it would be shipped. But, because I am not one to always listen to what I am told, I decided to go with American Auto Transport because they were cheaper. Before I confirmed with them, I did ask one of the Reps from American Auto Transport about why they were charging such a low price compared to others and if it was true that my car was going to sit for a while before being shipped. I was falsely reassured that this was not going to happen. But, this is my first time ever shipping my vehicle so I really had no reason to not believe them cause they seamed so sincere. I was told that I would receive a phone call a week or a few days before the scheduled date. I never did. I had to keep calling. I called a week before the car was to be shipped and I was told that it was too early so I waited until the Thursday before the scheduled ship date, 3 days before the car was to be picked up, and I was told that its was still to early. At this point I was really getting worried cause I am scheduled to leave Florida a few days after my car was to be shipped. Well, my car was scheduled to be picked up on Monday, March 21 and no one ever called me or came to get my car. From day one I have tried to call these people and the customer service was horrible. They never answer the phone and when they do, they put you on hold and then send you to someone's voicemail. I just gave up on them and left a message to cancel.

On a more positive note, I called 477 Express again that same day, Monday, March 21 at around 3 pm. I spoke with Carlos and told him the situation. He immediately went to work on my shipment request. By Tuesday, March 22, my car was picked up and on its way. The service was completely professional from the time I booked the car down to the inspection of the vehicle at time of pick up. So far, I am absolutely pleased with this company.

As for American Auto Transport, when I left them a voicemail, I specifically asked them to call me back to confirm my cancellation. They never did!
