I contacted by 5 Star Nationwide to deliver my brand NEW 2010 Cadillac CTS-V ($70K) from the dealership in Michigan to Georgia. I was told by Gilbert/Lin that my car was FULLY INSURED. They assigned Dejuma Auto Hauling (Lawrenceville, GA) to pickup & deliver my car.

The dealership stated the Jamaican driver ran over a sign in the parking lot & continued to drag in several feet before even noticing. My several phone conversations with the Jamaican driver were totally unprofessional & I had a feeling there would be a problem. The last phone call I received from the same cell phone as the original Jamaican driver was a totally different person/driver. Obviously there was a problem & a driver change.

My car had a busted/shattered window, paint scratches/chips on the rear quarter panel & trunk lid, and a damaged rear spoiler/brake light. The driver acted stupid & didn’t know how the damage happened. He stated he didn’t hear & see anything. I refused delivery & filed a police report.

Now I’m getting the run around with 5 Star Nationwide & they won’t return my calls. My research after the fact show they have a Better Business Bureau rating of F! I will get my corporate attorney involved now.

We are terribly sorry for the damage done to your vehicle, and your car IS fully insured. Please understand that the contract is between you and Dejuma Auto Hauling. The Carrier (Dejuma) has filed the necessary paperwork, and is ensuring all the necessary repairs are completed by a Cadillac dealership quickly and flawlessly. Again, we are terrible sorry for the damage and inconvenience. However, 5 Star Nationwide is simply a broker that secures truck space for your vehicle. We HAVE returned your calls, and have maintained regular communication with you and Dejuma to ensure all necessary repairs are completed.
