I put this out for bid and was contacted by several shipping companies. 7 Star was not the cheapest but after talking to Joseph on the phone he assured me that they would get the car shipped in a timely manner. I told him that I had to have the car picked up soon or I would be subject to storage fees. The original bid was 375.00 but I was contacted by Joseph on a Friday and was told they had a truck in the area of pickup and they would pick it up that day but it would cost 25.00 more. I agreed to the extra charge since the truck was in the area. 4 days later I contacted George at 7 Star because Joseph was not in and had failed to return my emails.George told me that the car was to be picked up the next day.When I asked about the extra charges and why it was not picked up the previous Friday George stated that they were within the terms of the contract and it did not matter what I was told all they had to do was pick the car up in seven days per the contract. I understand that they did abide by the contract but they did not uphold any of the verbal promises. I was also told that they did not go by anything said verbally, only the signed contract. Vehicle was picked up late and I was subjected to storage fees.Company said that they did not care because they picked it up as stated in the contract. There word is useless.They also went up on quoted price.The company that actually transported the vehicle was very nice and courteous.

We offered to find a driver asap, which we did right away, but carrier cancelled pickup due to road trouble, so immediately we started searching for a new carrier, we got one and we dispatched it and job was completed. Unfortunately, customer had to pay some storage fees where his vehicle was, but as we told customer on the phone and in writing storage fees are his responsibility. All transports are Estimated, the federal licensing agency allows by law 3 days to any carrier to be delayed in any way due to so many factors: Road and weather conditions, breakdowns and many more. Reason why customer has to understand this is a complex service and we do our best to help customers avoid additional expenses.
