I second every single awful review. I wish I had looked up the company BEFORE I signed a contract and authorized pre-payment (bad move!). The short version is that this company said they would pick up my car, never did, every time I'd call to check in I was yelled at and hung up on and I cancelled my order after waiting for the 3 week waiting period, assured I would get my refund. This was on May 26, 2010. Today is August 19, 2010 and I have yet to see my money. I have been hung up on, threatened that I would NOT get my money if I didn't stop calling them, and basically treated disrespectfully. I was told that I had to speak to Margerie re: refunds. We have spoken a total of 2 times. I am always told she is not there to call back tomorrow at 2pm. on July 6 I received a voicemail from her stating that she had my invoice and would issue a check. However, she was NOT authorized to sign the check. She would submit it to the supervisor and then if he did sign it, I would receive it in a week. Well, that week has come and gone many times over. Last week we spoke and she assured me that she would "look into" my invoice and call me back. When I told her I had just contacted the Attorney General, she said, "that was really bad idea. You shouldn't have done that. We've already given them a lot of money to pay out to our customers. It's just gonna take you longer now." So then I explained I hadn't filled out the paperwork yet and would be willing to wait if I received my money. When I asked her about the refund process and why I hadn't received my money when she left me a voicemail on July 6 stating she would cut the check, she stated that sometimes she cuts the checks but it doesn't mean they get sent out b/c lots of times they don't have money in their accounts to do so!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!
When I told them about all of the bad reviews I'd seen on the internet and how if I didn't get my money legal action would be my only recourse, their response was, " don't believe anything you read online. We've checked into every single bad review and they are not authentic. They are from our competitors!"
DON'T BUY IT!!!!! THEY ARE TRUE SCAM ARTISTS. FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME AS I AM ORGANIZING A GROUP OF CUSTOMERS WITH SIMILAR COMPLAINTS TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION!!!
