Ms. Pelleg submitted her order to have her vehicle delivered from CA to Coral Gables, FL on 8/3...She requested her pick up for 8/10-13 with delivery by 8/20.
Her vehicle was picked up on time and we anticipated delivery by 8/20. Unfortunately, the driver was delayed by 2 days. In addition, the driver was not able to deliver to the residental address in Fl due to many trees lining the street and was concerned about scratching the vehicles on the top rack of his truck. Although Ms Pelleg's son had a friend drive him to meet the truck, the driver reimbursed him $25 for gas...In addition, we reimbursed Ms. Pelleg $25 for the inconvience.
We were on the phone with Ms. Pelleg repeatedly the day before and day of delivery, . The driver tried to deliver the the vehicle the day prior to delivery but could not coordinate a meeting place that was convenient to her son. We were very much involved. In addition, the driver worked around her son's class schedule in order to deliver after he was out of school the following day.
Ms. Pelleg's son went inside the vehicle and inspected it before paying the driver the COD that was due. After inspection, he signed the paperwork indicating no damage. This is the first we or the truck has heard of any problem other than the 2 day delay.
