UPDATE
A warning to all...KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS!!!
The awful experience began almost a year ago and it is still fresh in my mind. I posted a negative rating last summer and now they are trying to dispute it by saying that I never did business with them. Luckily for me, I am anal & keep paperwork & receipts on every financial transaction, including debit purchases......because of that I have proof that they did scam me and they were unable to remove my negative rating.
I'm amazed thast they have been able to remain in business...what a shame that such an outfit can continue to conduct business in this way.

ORIGINALThey are liars, scam artists and I don't doubt that the great reviews that they have posted on their website is a direct result of the monkeys they have working in their office. The receptionist, Moana...is rude, useless and serves no purpose. The salesman lures you into this seedy world that you have no idea you are about to enter. The "Customer Service" illiterates are full lies and excuses. Of course by this time, you are desperate as they have your car and you begin to feel extreme anger as there is nothing you can do...and let me tell you they KNOW it.
They were to p/u my car on May 5, 2004. They said "no problem...we'll get it". It was to be p/u on the 5th in FL and delivered to Las Vegas, NV by May 13...no big deal...as promised, right? After I recieved a call from the dealership telling me that it hadn't been p/u, I called them...and quickly they went to go get it before I had a chance to cancel. It sat in their yard for another 2 weeks before it was transported!!!! On May 28th it boarded a truck from FL headed to Las Vegas..it was to arrive by June 4th...except...they couldn't find it for 2 days! That "electronic tracking" is a scam! It took them 2 days to locate my car and after 30 calls to them and no one being available to call me back I felt helpless. Gayle, their customer service girl called me back and apologized for losing my car for two days...I expressed my concern as I was doing research on A1 and told her that I was distraught to learn about all them complaints with the Better Business Bureau...in fact I told her there were 180! She said she thought that was pretty good! Ugh...I felt sick...my car appeared at their yard in Watsonville, Calif. on June 2nd! They then had to route it back to Las Vegas...I received my car on June 8th!!!! With scratches...with small dents behind each wheel wall, where you can tell that they were careless in the loading and unloading of it. It's not even worth arguing over...I'll get it fixed...I didn't even take the time to notate it on the slip....what for? I had already learned what this company was about. Don't let this happen to you...I wish I had researched better. Consequently, this has been a costly experience. Do NOT use A1 Auto Transport unless you have lots of money to burn!
