The call was disconnected due to Cheryl’s foul, nasty mouth and she was forewarned. There is no justification for a foul mouth to another human being. She booked her order in February for transport at the end of April. She was advised that it was too early but insisted. During March and April gas prices increased dramatically (30%) and a shortage developed of carriers on her route (Florida to New Jersey; Snowbirds returning north). Carriers will take the shipments with high enough COD’s to cover the gas price increases. This was explained to Cheryl but she refused to understand and refused to increase the COD price quote that would be paid to the carrier company on delivery. We even offered to take $50 off the down payment and apply it to the COD price to interest drivers, but Cheryl wanted a reduction of $50 in total price. She was unreasonable and nasty. Of course, no driver was interested in this shipment. We did not locate a carrier for her and we did not charge her a fee. She cancelled her credit card for no reason as we only charge a fee when we have provided the carrier company. We are experts in what we do and we want to get your vehicle moved for you. If customers do not take our advice and will not work with us on behalf of their shipment, the outcome is the customer’s responsibility.
