Poor service and honesty

The service provided by the auto movers was very pathetic. They picked my car 10 days after the estimated date. Besides, on my each conversation with them, they kept lying that the car would be picked up next day. Eventually, the next day came after 10 days.

The same story happened while delivering the car. They kept telling that car is due for delivery on a given date, and they never showed up, forcing me to stay at home at all times waiting for their arrival.

They also lied about the price details. While booking the transport, I was told that I can put upto 100 lbs in car trunk, while the truck driver flatly refused for this and asked me to pay more.

Finally, as a worst part, the AA company would hold the initial discussion with you and assign a truck to move your car. After that, they would withdraw from all responsibilities which they had promised and ask you to contact the truck company, which in my case was very rude and impolite.

I would not recommend this service to anyone.

We could not assist Mr. Sharma because he did not contact us at the time he was advised of the extra weight charge. Had he done so at that time, we could have spoken with his carrier to determine if the extra charge was valid. We did not withdraw from responsibilities – he did not notify us of difficulty until 12/3 – his vehicle was picked up a week ago and that was the time to let us know of a problem so that we could help. He agreed to the extra charge without ever contacting us so his statement that we withdrew from responsibility is blatantly untrue. When Mr. Sharma did speak with us on 12/3, we contacted his carrier who states the trunk is packed, is over weight and the customer already signed off on an additional charge. Though his carrier was delayed in the pickup due to the holiday, it is untrue that his vehicle was picked up 10 days late. His window for pickup was 11/14 through 11/20, his shipment was dispatched for pickup 11/14-20 and his carrier states pickup was 11/24. That is a delay of only 4 days not 10.
