Extremely dishonest

My earlier posting (12/8/06) describes the details of my contract with AAA automovers. I expected to see a reply posting from AAA - and they did post it, dishonest, as usual. I was NEVER contacted by a carrier, the American Automovers. AAA NEVER followed up on this case, even though their contract, with all the tricky wording designed to protect their fraudulent activity, still says" AAA automovers accepts the contract for TRANSPORTING the vehicle" Not "AAA accept the contract to find a carrier for the provider", as they claim, denying all the responsibilities after the car has been dispatched. Also, in order to justify the fact that they kept my deposit money, they forged a paper that looks like a fax to the carrier asking why my car was not picked up. And the "returned
fax" from the carrier contains one checked box next to the "customer could not be reached" sentence. That is ALL of the "extensive paperwork" that they cliam they have gotten from the carrier on this case. The most interesting thing is that this "fax" is dated 9/12/06, more than a month after they were supposed to pick up my car, but exactly on the day when my credit card company started the dispute process. My question is " Why did they not follow up with the carrier on the time when the carrier failed to deliver the service?" I requested such a follow up multiple times - no response to that. I am sure, there will be another lame lie posted to this review by an AAA customer service member, just like to the previous one. But there too many reviews posted on this site that are very similar to mine, and to many of them AAA posted replies stating that it all was customer's fault. But the truth is out already. Don't do your business with AAA automovers, leaves you stressed and disgusted.

ORIGINAL REVIEW
Beware of this company - they are unprofessional and dishonest!!!! When I called AAA, they quickly arranged my contact and the deposit of 175$ was paid. The same day I got the dispatch email sent to me - the delivery was scheduled between 8/7 - 8/11/06 with American Auto Transportation in Spokane. After that I have not heard from either, carrier or AAA. I have called numerous times to try to reach both companies and Brian, who was the agent that sold this contract to me. He never returned my calls. One time I finally go to talk to him and he was very rude this time - unlike the time when he was trying to get my business. He literally told me not bother the carrier or AAA, they will contact me when they find it convenient. Needless to say, the carrier never contacted me and never showed up for the pick up. I then sent and email and left a voicemail for Brian requesting to refund my deposit. I have not heard back from them and they still charged my credit card. When I requested a dispute for this charge, they sent a letter to my credit card company saying that firstly, they are a brocker company, who is not responsible for the carrier (?), and secondly, they were trying to pick up my car on the scheduled days, but I was not available! That is such an outragous lie! I have never come across someone so dishonest. I am going to report them to the BBB and Attorney General, this company should not be in business.
I was under such a tremendous pressure to move my car, I was leaving the state that week. When I realized that AAA is not going to move my car, I called the Blue Star Auto and they had my car shipped within 10 hours of my request for 300$ less than what AAA would have charged. I wish I have read the postings on this website earlier.

Ms. Khomyn agreed to make her vehicle available for shipment from 8/7 through 8/11. We dispatched the shipment to American Auto for pickup 8/7 - 8. American Auto has certified in writing that they made multiple attempts to arrange for pickup with the origin customer but could not reach her. On 8/9 we learned from Ms. Khomyn that her vehicle was shipped by another carrier. We believe she booked with multiple companies. Ms. Khomyn was not told "not to bother the carrier or AAA, they will contact me when they find it convenient." No one here would ever speak to a customer that way. In accordance with the contract and order signed by Ms. Khomyn, she was not entitled to a refund. Our rebuttal and supporting documenation to her credit card company proved this.
