One piece of advice: DON'T LET AAA, INC. (aka AAA ANYTIME, INC.) TRANSPORT YOUR VEHICLE ANYWHERE! I though I had found a reliable company when I contracted with AAA, Inc. to transport my Mazda Miata from Arizona to South Carolina. I was wrong. When my auto arrived with orange fluid spills on its covertible cover, dents and damage to the interior door panel, I contacted AAA, Inc. who told me they had nothing to do with damage claims, to call the company they contracted with to move my car. That's when I discovered they were only middlemen and took no responsibility for the safety of my vehicle. So, I contacted Sta-rite Auto Transport's owner, Coy Holman, the same man who drove the transport across country, and he asked me to obtain three estimates on the damage, send them to him and he would "tend to it." After obtaining estimates to replace the roof, add tint to the roof's rear glass window to match the rest of the car, replace the door panel, repair the dents, paint a rear view mirror and buff the scratches on the exterior paint, I sent it to him, as requested. A month later, I contacted him again to see if he received the estimates. He said he didn't recall seeing them, but his "girl" who handles his insurance for him was on vacation for 5 weeks - could I contact him after that? I did, and he said he was very busy, and could I call him back next week. When I did, he cursed me using more successive four-letter words than I've heard since the last Eddie Murphy tape I rented. What a complete jerk. He never paid a dime, and AAA didn't care, never contacted me to see how things went.
