I also dealt with Peter in having my car shipped from California to Virginia. He let me believe that he was giving me a "return user's discount" and set my price at $1148 ($400 deposit up front). He also told me delivery would take between 5-7 days and quote: "this is a great time of year to ship cross country" (less breakdown of the trucks due to weather and what not). They hired a company called MS Trucking to do the work, this company tried to pick it up two days early, rushed me to give to them the day of and then held it in the lot for at least 2 days (I suspect MUCH longer as it ended up taking 24 days to ship my car.) One week after they picked my car up, April 17th, I called the MS Trucking to check on the status of my car and found out it was in Arizona! (from LA that is NOT a 7 day trip). On April 28th, my car still had not arrived and when calling MS Trucking again, they told me it was now in Mississippi and would arrive on Thursday May 2nd. They refused to give me any discount or explanation other than "it broke down for 3 days" nothing to account for the other 17 days. I asked to speak to the reps manager and he claimed he didn't know who his manager was and that he was a "peon and a lackey" just delivering information. I then called AAA Anytime to ask them to either A. discount the rest of what i owed B. tell me who the supervisor was at MS Trucking OR C. Apologize in anyway for putting me in business with such an incompetent shipping company. Peter told me that they would never set me, personally, up with MS Trucking again but they wouldn't explicitly stop using them for other customers. He then told me the shipping company didn't have to give me any information other than when the car would arrive (apparently no explanation for why it was taking three weeks to do so) and that then hung up me (like he's apparently done to many customers who have left reviews here.) Shockingly the car did NOT show up May 2nd and MS trucking then stopped returning my phone calls. I had to file a claim with my insurance company that the car was stolen, have the adjuster "investigate" the claim, and thats is when MS called back and told me Saturday the car would arrive. I called Peter again and again he basically told me "the car will arrive when it arrives". Finally Saturday night at 8pm my car shows up.

The irony is that they're company website states: "We believe the most important part of any service business is just that, SERVICE!" These people are mean, nasty crooks. When you call and ask for prices/set up your delivery they seem nice and helpful. They are in fact very efficient and timely in taking your $400 deposit and "arranging" your pick up. The truth is that they subcontract the work and once your vehicle is picked up by a third party, they do little to nothing to ensure you are satisfied or receive your car in a timely manner. The FTC brought a judgment against them in 2001 (you can google it out and get a full copy of the judgment), and they've since changed they're name (look up on "AAA, Inc" on this same website and you'll find many more bad reviews--its the same exact company). And if you (AAA Anytime) want to respond with "we can't find your name in our system, you're not our customer" i'd be happy to scan and post our agreement. I understand that its not a perfect system and some cars don't arrive on time, but in that case the customer should be compensated NOT hung up on.

DO NOT SHIP THROUGH THIS BROKER.
