Found that shipping my car for an extended stay was a lot cheaper than renting a car for the same length of time. I couldn't believe that a 3-month rental would cost me over $3400. A price quoted by every major car rental company. Hertz even claimed to provide me a special gold card deal which still cost me more than a round trip transport for my own car.
