I had initially contacted another broker well in advance (about a month before my move), spoke with him the first time and then never really heard from him. About a week before my move, I still had not heard from him with any updates, so I started emailing and when there was no response, I called him. No response. Luckily, I had a txt msg sitting in my phone from AAA transporters, I called and Michael answered. It was a Sunday, around noon or a bit later, and I had only about 7 days to figure this shipment out or else, so I was skeptical. Michael took my info and said he would be calling me on Monday morning with information. And he did. He already had a driver, he had already figured out how to transport my car and even more, he said he would honor the original price I was given by the first broker. He was very prompt with the responses, he was professional, made sure I was happy with the driver once I dropped off my car and he was also very mindful of my time; I didn't feel like it was wasted in any way.

I read someone's response on how their car was very dirty when it arrived and thus damaged, so I thought I should comment on my car's dirt. When the car arrived on this end, I don't think it was dirtier than what I gave the driver. Given that it had just come from the dirtiest state in the US, traveled across country on an open truck, it is to be expected that there would be a significant amount of dirt or even scratches/dents from stray rocks. My car is not new and this was not a concern for me, but if I had a new car and didn't want to risk it, I'd tell the broker ahead of time and maybe they could find you a closed truck.

My overall experience with AAA transporters and the transportation company they found was very good and if I were to move again, Michael is the person I will be calling, for sure!
