So I had a popular route from Chicago to LA. I was told that it was likely that someone would jump on my order soon than I had planned. Less than an hour after the order went on the board, I got a call. This part was very good since getting out was important.
I did stress with Steve about the window we had because the receiver of the car was a salesperson and she traveled ALOT and the car could sit for a while unless these demands were met. He assured me that they would and this earlier ship date would help get it in the window we needed. I made it as clear as one can that I would only choose this carrier company if they could meet the demands. They did not.
It took them 3 days to get from Chicago to St. Louis. It put them way behind on the delivery date. They changed when the car was to delivered from last to first because of this. We got lucky that her flight got canceled because the car would have waited a week. That is too close to try again. I will use Steve again, just make sure you do not use BAM trucking.
