I got several estimates from several companies. One of my estimates was from AAALL States. The estimate from them came by email and included a list of do's and don’ts. Having never shipped a car, these were very helpful. Of coarse, I called a couple of lesser priced estimates first and was greeted by "Take it or leave it" and "no guarantees". They also made me feel like I was wasting their time and quit asking questions. My next and last call was to Dave at AAALL States. What a pleasant change this was. He explained exactly how the whole system works. He knew how many cars were being shipped from my pick up point to my destination. He helped me chose a price that would most likely get my car delivered quickly without overpaying. The actual carrier ended up being Robert and his wife at RB Transport. I was given their number and was able to contact them a couple of times as my car came across the US. This was also a pleasant experience. Nice people and a good carrier. If you are a newbie like me, try what I did. Call a couple of brokers, then call Dave at AAALL States. That will probably be your last call.
