Hello Everyone and Mr. Wilson, (SEE THE UPDATE ON THIS CLIENT 12/14/07 BELOW)
Mr. Wilson has left out a few details that are most important in his complaint, especially how he felt that he was more important that anyone else, including the DOT, SCHP, HPD, the two grandparents that died and the fact that when he demanded calls, Andrew was 36,000 feet in the air for most of the week or laying to rest family members. And that Gail and Faye were off for Thanksgiving. It was also on the voicemail and the email out of office reply. Also, as you read you will find that their was no police report as the police and the DOT are the ones that had his car delayed and felt he was harassing and bullying anyone who would listen.
Mr. Wilson called to have TWO vehicles moved. At the last minute when the driver was enroute to get both of them he changed it to one vehicle. We had to change trucks again because the first truck had to have two to come down. He insisted that it be picked up no later than the 13th. AFTER scheduling the truck, he then changed his payment method which does not take credit cards so we had to change it over to Tony's truck.
Tony picked it up and before he got out of SC the DOT and the SCHP pulled the entire trailer because another customer had illegal substances in their car. The ENTIRE TRAILOR was pulled and held by the police and the DOT. THIS WAS NOT THE DRIVERS FAULT AND MR. WILSON WAS VERY AWARE OF IT.
Those are circumstances beyond our control and there is nothing we could have done to make the vehicle get there any faster and he was updated every day twice a day.
Once the load was released by the DOT and SCHP the vehicle was delivered within 7 hours.
Mr. Wilson's last minute changes (which we accommodated immediately) and the SCHP drug task force led to the delay in his delivery and there is nothing we could have done to further expedite it. We worked with him every step of the way.
As for Mr. Wilson's issues with Andrew. On 11/14/07 Mr. Wilson was told BY ME that the office would be closed for Thanksgiving week.
YES Mr. Wilson called Andrew 8 times, on Tuesday, and Andrew told him he was attending a funeral and then YES Mr. Wilson called him again for an update, one hour after his family lay to rest his Grandfather (whom raised him) and 35 minutes after Andrew just found out his Grandmother in Law passed away that day here in Georgia. At that moment, he did not have to, but chose to accommodate, once again, Mr. Wilson’s call. YES he had a glass of wine with his family while they toasted in Grandfather and Andrew explained where he was, why he was there , why he had a glass of wine and told him he would call him later as it was not good time for him to speak at that moment.
The Hampton Police Investigator called me personally to tell me of Mr. Wilson's 19 calls to them and how it would be harassment if he called them or us again and that he could not file a police report because his vehicle was perfectly fine and in the hands of the SCHP as two other officers already confirmed with him as well. The officer also explained to him that no-one, not even his million phone calls could have his car released
