I went through Red Carpet Transport and they made arrangements with APA 73. The pickup was not a problem, though it was later in the day than I anticipated. The drop-off (per Red Carpet) was supposed to be on August 29th, but the car did not arrive until Sept 1st. This may not have been APA
s fault though, and they did give me an accurate estimate when I contacted them directly.

However, the drop-off was a disaster. When my car arrived, it was very late at night, and dark out. I did my best to survey the vehicle for damage, and signed off on my car. At the time, it looked like my side view mirror had simply been popped in. the next day, when I intended to drive my car and went to pop the mirror back out, it turned out that the mirror had been broken.

I immediately contacted APA and explained the situation. I told then that I recognized that the bill had been signed, but that I thought there were extenuating circumstances (the late-night arrival in the dark) and I was wondering if there was anything that could be done. Rather than try to work with me (or even simply apologizing), the customer service representative yelled at me, accused me of breaking my own mirror, and by the end of the conversation, had threatened to "sue me for accusations" if I posted a negative review online.

I will definitely check my car far more closely next time, but I will also be sure never to use this carrier again. I paid a large sum of money for this transport and was left with a broken side view mirror and threats and accusations from APA 73. Never again.
