I hired Able Auto Transport to haul a car for me. I have used them twice in the past. Their web sight says" bonded and insured."We treat your car like it was our own. You find out what a company is made of when you have trouble. I contracted Able for the job. They contracted C&L Trucking out of Harrison AR. When I recieved my car while still on the transport truck(C&L). I Noticed extensive body damage on the passanger side. The driver said he didn't know when it happened. Then he said the windows were not installed properly( Which he made no note of when picking the car up.)The inspection sheet had no damage shown when the car was loaded. It said GOOD SHAPE. I called Able and I was told not to sign the bill of ladeing until the driver listed all the damage. Which we did.Then the driver went to back the car off of the truck and the drive shaft was broke. He said he pulled the car onto the truck.I called Able again and was told to have the driver write that also on the bill of ladeing. We had to push the car off of the truck and I had to call a tow truck to tow the car to a garage. Later Able sent me some forms to fill out and send to C&L Trucking along with two estimates, which I did. Two days later C&L Trucking called me and said they were not going to pay for anything. I called Able and told them and they said they would call C&L and have them call me. This was about three weeks ago. They both dropped me like a hot potato. Almost $2,200 worth of damage nobody is responsible.
All I can say is talk is cheap.I hired Able, I thought they would help me. Shame on me for being so trusting.
