It's my belief that this company just wants to just collect the processing fee fraudulently. I worked with James S. which is definitely not the employee's real name. He quoted 1500 for shipping my vehicle from California to DC. on the day of shipping he called and stated the price will be 2600 for the same day or 2300 for the following Monday. Eventually he went to 2500 for the same day. When I said no that is not the agreed upon price, he was unrelenting in trying to me to take the 2500 offer (67% increase) . I ended up trying to get him to agree to a refund for nearly 2 day. Working with James was easily the worst experience I’ve ever had. Beware: They have an anti-chargeback clause (not sure if this is even enforceable) in their agreement along with statement that they will keep 50 percent of the upfront fee ($200) for cancellation — even if they fail to find appropriate transport at agreed upon rates, transportation method, and dates. I ended up hiring another company and ACE posted a higher rate for my vehicle after being fired to drive prices up — extremely deceptive.
SUMMARY: company requires upfront fee, doesn’t reach anywhere near terms they stated, keeps their upfront fee. At best they are bait and switch and at worst there are fraudulent.
