Advance Logistics is a poorly organized, poorly run company. Period. They were supposed to have picked up our '05 Jeep Cherokee Limited- Charcoal and ship it to Las Vegas. We had read their reviews, which were not all great, but we talked to Barry, who assured us that the reason that some people gave bad reviews was because there is a gasoline surcharge that they didn't know about. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt (bad idea), and payed $200 as a deposit on our shipment, the balance was to be paid to the driver on arrival. We were told the car would arrive 5-10 days after shipping.

Six days later, we received a call from the driver, good news, our car would be delivered that night. We had gone to the bank, had the rest of the money ready, when at 6pm that evening, the driver called us with a little problem. He didn't have our car!! He had a car that was supposed to be going to Georgia. We tried calling Advance Logistics to remedy the problem, (our car is still sitting in Detroit). Their office was closed, as it was after business hours. They do not have any means to contact them 24/7 if there are any problems. In the morning, we called and spoke to Andy. Andy denied any fault or mistake on their part. We had faxed to him their forms, the contract, which included the make, model, VIN#, color, year, our credit card information, for the deposit, etc. Andy stated first that they didn't have that fax. They never got it. After questioning why the picked up our car without a contract, and how they charged our credit card without the information on the fax, he admitted that they had it, but that it wasn't their fault. He called my wife 'stupid lady' on the phone, and called me the same, when I called back to talk to him. He refused to to anything to try to remedy the situation, only saying that if we wanted him to still ship the car, he would have it picked up sometime in the next 2 weeks.

The problem was not encountered until another driver, picking up a Jeep (different model, year and color!), did check the order form- imagine that!, and realized that the car that he was supposed to be picking up was not there.

Andy is the type of person who takes no responsibility, he blamed everybody else. The dealer, the driver (they contracted out with Dusk til' Dawn trucking), at one point he even blamed me! The sign of a company with good customer service is one that will do all they can to fix a problem when it arises. I understand that problems happen, that's life, but Andy and Advance Logistics refused to help in any way to fix the situation. We are now filing a complaint with the better business bureau and our contact in Detriot is suing them and Dusk to Dawn. Hopefully they don't get away with stealing our $200 and someones vehicle. These people are truly crooks in every since of the word. I have never dealt with more dishonest people in my whole life. Please, even if they are the cheapest, I promise $200 dollars saved is not even worth the headache. THEY ARE CROOKS!

When the driver Dusk To Dawn went to the auction to pickup the car he was given the car under the customers company name, and an envelope was given to him with the keys, he did not have anything to check to see if that was the car but assumed that it was. The customer never gave us any further information other than go to the gate and pickup the envelope marked with the company name, which contained the keys. Due to the customers negligence the driver suffered expenses that he should not have, the customer says nothing about that only bad thing about us. The customers wants us to take responsibility, how ?? we are not there and the driver will only do what the instructions say to do.
