You have to understand

Until I understood what the Auto broker does, I really thought I was being screwed over. they gave me a quote then a week later told me they couldn't honor it. Sounded like I should hate the company and I did, but then I realized they do not do the shipping, they work with truckers throughout the country and if the truckers don't want the job, the car isn't moving. This is the same for almost all (if not all) transporting companies.

I know that Robin (my contact there, extremely nice person) did her best to get my car moving, but the location I wanted it to go is a dead area, not enough business in/out of there to make it worthwhile for a trucker to make the trip. Once I understood the dynamics of the business, I was able to get it shipped to a larger city within 100 miles of my home then met the trucker there. The car was picked up the very next day when I asked for the larger city (actually since it was 7pm at night when I asked for the change, we should call it the same day) and it was delivered 3 days later. Florida to Wisconsin - 3 days. You can not ask for faster service. You can't ask for better service.

Shipping your car, here's some tips. Be flexible where it gets shipped to. If you live in an out of the way place (I live in Green Bay) think about having it delivered to a more travelled route. You'll probably find it cheaper and moved a lot faster. Remember that if it is a new car and you have to pick it up at a remote location it will need Temporary tags.

Good luck and hope you find this info helpful
