There were lower cost carriers, but they had poor, or inconsistent, reviews. We hired Affordable Auto Trans. largely because they offered a fair price and had consistently good reviews online and with the BBB. I was impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the representative, and he seemed to answer my questions honestly.
The carrier selected was very good as well. The only negative to the whole experience was when Affordable said, due to the carrier available, our initial payment would change from $200 to $300.
I know the guy receiving the shipment in California, and he was equally pleased.
