On 9-2-10 i signed a transport agreement to have a 1979 Trans Am shipped to VA from NY in ENCLOSED transport for 770.00.Candie told me it was a 1 to 7 day average wait.On 9-14-10 at about 4PM i was contacted by Jerome from Agape who said that the car could be picked up on 9-18-10 but it would be 150.00 more then the original quote. When i told him that i did not want to pay anymore then the original agreed price he told that they were having a hard time finding a transporter at that price. When i asked him why would they quote me a price they cant honor and how long will this go on Jerome told me i could cancel with them on 9-16-10.Later that night a driver contacted my parents where the car is and said he would pick the car up on 9-15-10.I was never contacted by Agape about this pick up even though they are supposed to. I called Candie the next day and she stated that a email had be sent which was not but stated the pick up was correct . Laterthat afternoon an OPEN transport showed up to pick up my car.The driver tried to talk me into letting him take the car but i told him i ordered an ENCLOSED transport and did not want to use him.I called Candie to find out why the WRONG OPEN transport was sent and she stated dispatch error.IT DOESNT TAKE A DETECTIVE TO FIGURE THIS ONE OUT.AFTER REFUSING TO PAY MORE MONEY THEY SENT THE FIRST CHEAPEST TRANSPORTER THEY COULD FIND HOPING I SETTLE FOR IT EVEN IF IT WAS THE WRONG ONE.THIS IS WHY THEY NEVER NOTIFIED OF THE PICK UP AFTER JEROME TRIED TO SHAKE ME DOWN FOR MORE MONEY.I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH A MORE DISHONEST BUSINESS,I WAS ABLE TO HAVE THE CAR TRANSPORTED FOR 700.00 IN ENCLOSED TRANSPORT.AGAPE SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED AND WILL BE REPORTED TO THE BBB.

The very first thing we want to do is offer our most sincere apology to Mr. John Colarossi. And we completely understand why he feels the way he does. We acknowledge that from his prospective that it looks and sounds bad. However, it is not as it appears. It is true that his first available date was Sept. 2nd and that on the 14th Jeremy called John to let him know we had a carrier but that spot was $110 (not $150) more than his quoted amount. We explained that was the first available Enclosed carrier we have had and just wanted to let him know about it. He declined this spot at that rate. Following that we had another carrier contact us who stated he could get Johns vehicle the next day. HOWEVER, we did not know that this carrier was an Open carrier. We told the carrier this was an Enclosed transport and it was on the paperwork as well. It is still unclear where the breakdown in communication occurred. We did in fact email John the dispatch notification, as we do every customer. However, he stated he did not receive this. Of course, when the carrier showed up with an Open trailer John was furious with us, and rightly so. Anyone would feel the way he does. But this was an honest mistake and absolutely not intentional on our part nor the carriers part. We have taken measures to insure that this never happens again. We are not a dishonest, shady company. Our history and reputation (an A rating with the BBB and 5 Star rating on Transport Reviews) in the auto transport industry proves that we have earned and deserve these high marks. We again extend our hand to Mr. Colarossi and apologize for this unfortunate situation. We wish him all the very best!
