It is true that placing an order early does usually help getting a customer’s car booked and picked up close to the date the customer had said his/her car would be available to ship, however that is not always the case. Mr. Abdul had placed his order 2 weeks prior to his available date of the 30th. We did agree that we couldn’t pick up the car prior to the 30th and would do everything we could to have it picked up in a timely fashion around the 4th of July weekend. The 4th of July weekend is always tricky as most truckers at that time, especially on the routes that were coast to coast had already been booked full or were not running until sometime after the holiday weekend. After the holiday weekend Jaymes was in constant contact with the customer, as he was prior to the holiday, and was able to find a driver that could pickup his car the following week. Mr. Abdul did not want to wait any longer and cancelled his order on the 7th and was given a full refund.
We have been in business a long time and don’t need to secure business from customers by lying. We average 800 to 1000 vehicles a month and it’s unfortunate when a car is delayed in being picked up due to extenuating circumstances. We normally are able to secure a trucking company and have our customers cars picked up in a 1 to 4 business day window, but things do happen and this is not always the case. As a company we do our best to give our customers all of their options so that they can make plans and reduce their stress.
