Our daughter's car needed to be transported to the city in which she will attend college in the Fall. American Transport Company was the only one of several brokers we contacted that actually answered the phone and provided clear and thorough information right away. The agent, Michael Richter, got back to us in a timely manner, having succeeded in getting the car transported exactly when we wanted to have it depart. He gave us an estimate of its arrival date. The car arrived on the early end, 7 rather than 10 days after pick-up. The truck driver John was also very helpful and remained available. He too was clear and reliable in his communications with us. The car was in good condition on arrival and it was clear it had remained with him throughout the trip. The cost of the transport was $1050. This was medium range with the most expensive being $1700 and the least being $900. In all other cases, phone numbers didn't work, agents were brusk, or call backs did not happen. None of this happened with American Transport Company. We recommend them highly.
