No communication and they simply don't care

Do not use this company whatever you do - they suck .....If you are having a car shipped you need to understand there is an element of flexibility involved...ie. no trucking company can give you exact pick up and arrival times at the time of booking. I also had to change the day of pick up by one day. However, after the change I asked them to contact me to confirm the pick up and let me know when the car would be dropped off. On the day of drop off I still had not heard from them - not to confirm that they had the car or to let me know when I should expect it. It was being delivered in a place where I had to receive it and put plates on it immediately, so it was essential that I was there to receive, all of which they knew. It was only because I was in contact with the garage where the car was being picked up from that I knew it had been picked up at all. When I telephoned the company on the day of delivery to find out when it would be dropped off Jeff told me that he couldn't talk to me for half an hour as was not in the office. I found the whole thing entirely unprofessional. When I called back to find out what was going on and complain about how I had not received any communication, the lady on the phone hung up on me and still did not give me any information as to when my vehicle was arriving. When I called again they would not pick up the phone.

When I did finally hear from someone it was the company they had subcontracted to. After about fifteen calls back and forth we arranged a time for delivery, but an hour before they called to say they a problem with their truck so I would have to drive their driver back to his truck where it was parked in the next State after he had delivered my car. Finally the driver turned up at 10pm when I then had to take him to his truck. It was an ordeal, but at least these people (who All America had subcontracted with) kept in touch, were polite and helpful and tried to work with a difficult situation as best they could. They told me that All American were paying them next to nothing to do the job which meant that they couldn't offer me any other solution than me driving their driver back to his truck after delivery. All American not only give the most appalling customer service I've ever experienced, they clearly don't care about people who work for them and only in the business to make a quick buck not to run a professional business.

If there could ever be any joy in having a car delivered these people will reverse that and turn it into a nightmare. I wish I had flown to Florida and brought the car back myself - it would have been easier.
