Total Disregard for Reliability

I've never shipped a vehicle before. I had no idea that I was dealing with a broker. I had no idea that I could not rely on the dates that my All Auto Shipping (AAS) representative, Ted, agreed to "verbally" may not be honored by his company. I flew from Tucson to Little Rock to prepare the car for shipping. I alerted Ted that I was in Little Rock waiting to be contacted by a his hauler. My first alarm came when Ted responded that they would begin trying to find a hauler and he would get back with me. I heard nothing for the next two days. Thursday afternoon I called and Ted told me that no trucks were near my area and that he would keep trying, but he would have to increase the fee. By Friday afternoon (my flight back was Saturday morning) I called again several times. No answer. I ended up quickly renting a Penske truck and car hauler for $1,100. Forfeited my return flight ($300.00). Drove 1400 miles and spent $1,200 on fuel. Not only would I not recommend All Auto Shipping, I would not recommend using any vehicle hauling firm that can't guarantee the pick up. AAS makes their money $125.00 deposit at a time and may likely never haul a vehicle. AAS makes the entire industry look crooked. I've never been left hanging by any service provider to this extent and it should be illegal.

Whatever you do, get a guarantee from a well researched, reputable company, not AAS.
