He quoted us $560.00 over the phone, and said there was a $150.00 "deposit" required. We agreed to the quote and paid the deposit. Five days later we called Anthony back to ask how we pay the shipper. At that time he said we would owe the shipper $670.00, as the shipping cost was higher because the vehicle was "outside of a major city". I questioned this, as we gave him the address of the vehicle when we asked for the initial quote. I also said we paid $150.00, which he then stated to us that this was "his fee", and not a deposit (as he stated in the first phone conversation) towards shipping. I agreed, as his fee plus this new shipping quote was still within the other quotes we had received by other shipping establishments. When the shipper called us on March 21st to deliver the vehicle to our house, they said we owed $750.00. I immediately called Anthony, who said he was sorry, and would refund us $50.00 in the way of a Visa or MC gift card. I had to pay the $750 that day in order to get my vehicle. In early April, I emailed and called Anthony, as I did not yet receive the refund he promised. He responded to me in an email that "thank you for your patience i will take care of you soon i have been out of the office as soon as i get back i will email you thanks". Two weeks later, I called him- still no refund. Moving into May 2, 2016, I call him again, and he told me on the phone that "your on the list, and will receive a $50 gas card when your name is next on the list"- this changed from a gift card to a gas card, which I did not agree to. He should not be permitted to operate in this type of fraudulent matter.
