This was my first experience in shipping a car, and using an auto shipping company to do it. Horror stories about less-than-honest shipping companies abound. I approached the process with a bit of apprehension. I read up on reviews, and decided on Allegiance. I am happy to report that my experience dealing with Allegiance has been very positive. The company has a great support staff. Joe in Sales took my order and was thorough, efficient and helpful in his explanation of the process to ship my van from Illinois to California. The price quoted seemed fair. The final delivery price was an extra $25 above the original quote, as requested by the carrier. This was agreed upon before my van was picked up—not a surprise. I needed my vehicle asap, so I paid the extra fee rather than waiting for another carrier. My van was picked up within a week after the first available day. Once the carrier was found, Customer Service took over. Sara and Jessica took turns assisting me. Both of them were courteous, knowledgeable and professional. The driver from Safe Way Transport picked up my van on time, called me a day before the car arrived and arranged for a meeting place. Again, the service was great. I would not hesitate to recommend Allegiance and Safe Way.
