My 1st Pick up date to move my car from New Jersey to OHIO is on 23rd December'09. I called up Allegiance Auto on 21st and checked with the pickup date. They said the pickup will be either on 23rd or 24th. I again called them on 23rd to check if they have got any carrier to pick up my vehicle. Allegiance Auto Customer Care person said they have not got any carrier assigned and if I need my vehicle to be picked up in next 24 hrs they charge me $250 extra. I have paid additional amount as I need to leave to OHIO on 25th.
They assigned a carrier on 23rd and I called both the driver and the Allegiance auto more than 10 times to pick up before 25th but finally the driver came to pick up my vehicle on 27th. From the day of pick up the driver did not take even a single call till date (5th Jan'09). I came to know that there is some problem with the truck and my vehicle is still in New Jersey.
I spoke to customer care on reimbursing $250 (as they did not pick up with in 24hrs) and they said the driver has come on 24th to my house and he left because he did not find my car at the given address. The driver doesn't know my vehicle and how can he say that the vehicle is not at my house.
