07 Saab CHARGED ME $199. FOR CANCELLATION ON TERMS THEY DID NOT PROVIDE

I had placed an order for my car to be picked up on Thursday April 7th on Friday April 8th no call or a pick up. on April 11th I called to find the status of the delivery. The lady was very impolite and was raising her voice at me when she did not even know what she is doing. I hung up on her and emailed the sales person Jay about canceling my order. Jay contacted me again promising me that he would have a driver for me in no later then today. I said ok and waited for his call. Then I get a call from a dispatch saying he has great news for me that my car will be picked up no later then April 14th. I want my car to be shipped to me by the 15th. I said no thank you I will find another company. They send me a cancellation notice and not mentioning anything about the cancellation fee. Later that day I was charged a fee of $199.00 and that was for cancellation fee. I mean weather you like it or not they will charge you a fee. DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR CREDIT CARD TO ANY ONE WITH OUT A CONFIRMATION OF A DRIVER.

These situations are rare and certainly not enjoyable. Allegiant's customer was working with multiple companies simultaneously, which we strongly advise against. Allegiant assigned a carrier to this load and the driver went 250 miles out of his way to pick up this vehicle. The customer ultimately went with another broker company (for a higher price point than what we agreed to) and the carrier is now left in a tough situation. Our driver said no to other paying customer to help Theresa. Our policy was clear and understood from the very beginning. To highlight our integrity Allegiant is willing to credit the customer for a future shipment and this credit can be shared to a referral. However, Allegiant was involved in no unethical practices during the course of this relationship. The transaction was understood by the customer and the policy for canceling was made explicitly clear from the very start.
