Talking with Dave Fountain was like hanging out with your brother. Calm, assured, knowledgeable. This business is a huge racket and it was great to finally speak to someone who would tell me straight! No pressure. No sales talk. Just facts. Also? No deposit *until the vehicle was safely loaded on the transport truck*!

Was a whirlwind when the day came to roll out. We had the chance to meet a driver about an hour + away, or wait for a carrier closer to me on another day. When Dave called with this opportunity, I jumped on it! And away we went!

Met Igor of Igor's Trucking at the I-81 and I-40 interchange. He had two spaces left. Very congenial fellow. Clean and neat. Looked the car over, dotted up his inspection sheet, handed it to me to review and sign. I did. He loaded the car up, thanked me, and said, "Say goodbye!" Nine days later (they'd said it would be 7 to 10- perfect!), Igor rolled into Portland, Oregon. Met my daughter at the agreed destination, and did the process in reverse. Though the vehicle was dirty, it was otherwise in the same condition as when it left Tennessee.

One more thing about Dave at Alpine. I may have said my daughter's name twice in all the phone conversations we had. Yet, he pronounced her (unusual!) name perfectly! Bonus points! So glad to have worked with him, and with Alpine. I'd do it again!

Carol, What a great account of how the transport went of your daughter's Eclipse Spyder. It's just fun reading it as you were to work with. It's very nice people like you that makes me want to come to work everyday. As you stated this business can be a huge racket and I'm so glad to have the distinct advantage by simply providing the straight talk and facts they deserve. Customers always enjoy the breath of fresh air they get when they hear the truth and someone who sincerely cares about their situation after they've heard the same song and dance over and over from everybody else. Thanks for the bonus points for pronouncing your daughter's name correctly and hope she enjoys having her Spyder back. Please call anytime if you need anything in the future.
