After contacting and speaking to MANY MANY transport companies, I finally found Alpine on this review website. They didn't have many reviews but all of them looked good so I contacted them. Mike Feuerhelm was my sales rep. A no nonsense guy. Straight to the point. No false sales talk just to get you order and no deposit too. Just to pay the full amount on delivery. A date for pickup was given to me. To make the date, I had to drive the 1942 MB Jeep (just beautifully restored) on a trailer from Vancouver Island, over the US border at Blaine and then meet up with the driver outside our hotel off Interstate 5. I explained to Mike I needed 48 hours notice so that I didn't end up spending more money staying in a hotel more than 1 night waiting for the driver. A date was given. I spoke to Dan the driver. He was very flexible as to where I would like to meet him. I gave him the address of the hotel and he said he would arrive at 11.00 am on Saturday morning. Well, he was on time and his partner Carol said they started out at 4.00am to meet the promised 11.00am time. When they arrived, Carol checked the Jeep over with great detail and gave us a report. Dan loaded the jeep like it was his own precious newly restored classic jeep. I was very impressed with the service. Dan estimated 9 - 12 days for delivery - as long as there were no hold ups as he had a few other vehicles to pickup on the way to NC. Dan and Carol were so professional - I can't rate them highly enough. When the jeep arrived, it was in PERFECT condition. The buyers were very impressed with the service and they thanked me for finding such a great transport company.
I give Alpine a 100% total Customer satisfaction. I would definitely use them again. They have my highest recommendation. If you are reading this and trying to decided - GO WITH THEM!
Also, if anyone ever needs a US Broker - use Steve Sanders situated at the US border in Blaine. There aren't any review sites for Brokers. Steve was less than half the price of other brokers and the service was 100% total customer satisfaction too. Look on the US Border Protection website to see the list of registered brokers. I rang 5 and Steve was the best.
