Under-insured and Serious Communication Issue

I will state the basics of this transport:

I had a car transported from Los Angeles to NYC-area. I paid $1100 to a broker, who then used Ambela d.b.a. We Move For You to transport it.

My car was damaged by them during transport and they admitted it after i asked them. the driver tried to say they didnt, and tried to convince me the bill of lading reflected it. Somebody who works for them (mistakenly) told me what happened.

They would not answer my emails or return my phone calls until I was a day away from having a lawyer file a court claim in their district.

This is important: their insurance deductible is $2500. This means you have no avenue to pursue when they damage your car; and you are responsible up to that amount if its over $2500.

They first offered me 1/10th of the cost to fix the repair, and we finally settled for more, but I still had to pay out of pocket for the repair.
