Graham, my original contact with Ameri-Freight was extremely helpful and gave me excellent advice about the industry overall as well as specifics about their company and my individual needs. He was patient and kind in a time of stress for me and one of the primary reasons I went with this company (the other reason was the number of positive reviews.) The only problem was the person who contacted me the next day about an available truck in the area supposedly asked the driver if he could give me an additional couple of hours to get the car ready (I wanted to pack items in the trunk). She told me the driver was indeed willing to work with me but when the driver called me about an hour later, he had no knowledge of that (asked me, "WHO told you that?") and informed me that he was on a schedule, take it or leave it. I did manage to get the car ready to go when he needed it, and the experience from that point on was smooth. The car was delivered covered in salt (but, it went across half the U.S. in January so that's not surprising) but appears to be without damage and everything was untouched in the trunk. The driver was friendly and appeared to be reliable. Overall, it was a positive experience.
