I purchased a 1983 Oldsmobile from an owner in Kansas and hired AmeriFreight to ship it to my location in New Hampshire. I was just completing an earlier, very positive transaction with AmeriFreight when I arrranged this one. Each time, Bob has been courteous, thorough, and expedient in our dealings - a pleasure to do business with.
This is a very professional organization and I highly recommend them to anyone considering shipping a vehicle. They choose their carriers very carefully and these folks have been great to deal with also.
The reason that I checked "late" for pickup time was only due to a mechanical failure that the carrier had experienced during the recent storms in the Midwest. The part he needed was delayed for several days and his truck was laid up - nobody's fault, really.
In any event when the car arrived, as it is with many antiques it didn't start. The driver carefully rolled it off of the carrier and stayed to help me try to get it jump started and into our garage.
Unfortunately the starter had failed, so he loaned me a long chain and steered the car while I pulled it into the driveway with my pickup. He then helped me push it into the garage. Now that's top notch service!
Again to those considering AmeriFreight, use them. You will not be disappointed!
