I selected Amerifreight for several reasons. One, was of course, the price. They had an on-line price calculator that really helped and they stuck with that price. The other reason was the ease of their website. I went to several other broker websites and found them to be a little confusing and more complicated to navigate. Graham Turner, of Amerifreight, called and said that they had not had a carrier pickup the job on the car for three days and he said that he would personally contact a carrier he knew from previous dealings and inquire if they could make a quick pickup. I really appreciate the fact that he stayed in contact with me and saw to it that a company was contacted and did not just wait for a company to finally get around to picking up the job. He called back and said that he had gotten an agreement for a Saturday pickup and that it would be delivered on Tuesday. Amerifreight stayed in contact with me on how the transportation was going.

My NEW 1962 Studebaker was delivered on Monday instead of Tuesday. The car was delivered in good condition and the drivers were very professional. They unloaded the car carefully. I would not hesitate to use Amerifreight again, as the broker, to get a carrier for my automobile. The total time from contract time with Amerigreight to delivery was six days, from Tuesday to Monday.

After visiting several sites, I found that prices varied a lot and some companies would give great prices but the pickup and delivery time was a little up in the air. I realize, as a broker, Amerifreight depends on carrier companies to pickup the job, but I appreciated their continued contact with me and updating me on what was happening. The driver contacted me while he was still about 100 miles out, so I could plan my schedule ahead of time and not be sitting there wondering when the car was being delivered. A good experience for me all around.
