My experience with Jeff and Sherryne at Amerifreight was wonderful. Jeff was very helpful in answering all my questions and was very honest with me. He was also very willing to help when we were having trouble contacting the driver. He could not have been more pleasant and helpful.
However, once we were given our carrier things were not as smooth. We were told the car would be picked up around 6:00 on Tuesday and when no one called or showed up I called the next morning and was told sorry I had you confused with another customer he will be there around 3:00 that day. Spoke with driver who said he would most likely be there between 6 and 7 but would give me an hour notice and called around 7:00 to say he would be there in about 10-15 min. No hour warning, and took him about 45 min to get to us. He said the car would get there either Thursday evening or Friday morning and got there about 6:30 Friday evening. The car did arrive in the shape we left it, and the driver Jamie, with Gaines Auto Transport, was nice, but he needs to get better at estimating his timing. I understand the timing is not guaranteed but it was frustrating that the times we were told kept changing. I gave AmeriFreight 4 stars since my interactions with them directly were great, but they did give me the carrier I got, so had to deduct 1 star for that.
